Pen removed from an old woman stomach after 25years

A 76-year-old woman in England has had doctors remove a pen from her stomach Which she accidentally swallowed 25 years back, only for them to discover  that the pen still writes!

 The pen was discovered after a CT scan was conducted following her complaints of diarrhea. When asked how the pen got into her, she recalled how she unintentionally swallowing a pen 25 years earlier while trying to prod her tonsils.

At the time she swallowed the pen, her husband and general practitioner dismissed her story particularly as the plain abdominal films done at the time didn’t show anything out of the ordinary.

For her own safety, the pen was removed by endoscopy after which it was tested – and it still writes...Interesting
